General Instructions

Hello,

I am your teacher Ms. D. Hodges and welcome to our Blog. This blog is where we as a class will spend some moments discussing our views, points and opinions where Literature (Grades 7 a& 11) / Literature in English (Grade 12) and even Language (Grades 7 a& 11) /Communication studies (Grade 12)  are concerned. With this platform we will be able to, not only learn from each other but explore different topics together.

Posts will be made on this blog very often and students will be given a  minimum of one (1) week/seven (7) days to respond/reply to the different posts. Each time a post is made your class and assigned topic or question will be the title of that page, by clicking on your class and topic/question you will be taken to the post and will be able to make your post/reply.

When you are replying to a post be sure to state your name first, then write your post. For example: If I were to respond to a post it would look a lot like this - "Ms. Hodges: I think poetry is the most creative form of art." By adding your name before your post I will know who the post is from.

All students are expected to reply to  every post and your replies to posts on this blog will be 15% of your end of term exam grade. However in order for you to earn this 15% you will need to reply to every post that is made by me (Ms. Hodges). If you are unable to meet the deadline of a post; request an extension before the due date using a valid excuse and allowances will be made so as to not affect your 15%.

If the information provided here was not completely clear to you, bring all your queries to the next class and they will certainly be addressed for you.

Happy blogging,
Ms. D. Hodges.
